What’s On
Sunday
- 10.15 am Morning Service
- Sunday School during the service.
- 6.00 pm Evening Service
The Sunday Services are the centre of our life as a fellowship. Our services tend to be fairly traditional in format without a lot of ritual or formality. We believe that it is important for Christians to spend time praising and thanking God for what He has done for us. We also believe that we are better equipped to praise and thank Him if we have a good understanding of who he is and what he has done for us. Because of this a substantial part of each of our services is given over to studying the Bible in order to get a better understanding of who God is and what he has done. After each of our services there is an opportunity to catch up with your friends over a cup of tea or coffee.
Sunday School is an opportunity for children of church families and also children from the neighbourhood to learn something of the Christian faith.
Children may leave the morning service just before the sermon to attend Sunday School. Worksheets suitable for 8-12 year olds are available for children who remain in the service.
Wednesday
- 9.45 am Toddler Time
The Church tries to be a good neighbour and provide a helpful service to “mothers and others” in our neighbourhood. Pre-school children can play in a safe environment and enjoy activities, songs and games while their carers can relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and the company of friends. An occasional programme of talks on issues connected with parenting and the Christian faith takes place. Carers are welcome to attend these talks.
Thursday
- 7.30 pm Prayer Meeting
We believe that one of the greatest privileges enjoyed by Christians is the possibility of speaking to God through prayer; praising Him and asking Him to bless our world.
<So, each week The Church comes together each week to enjoy the presence of God, to work hard asking Him to bless our Church and community, our country and on the progress of the gospel throughout the world.
