Apologies to all our readers, but tomorrow’s sermons will not be posted tomorrow as I am out of town until later in the week. I intend to post them when I return so watch this space. In the meantime why not visit our Sermon page and browse through more than 350 sermons to see what is available there?

Last night, at our weekly prayer meeting, we had a visit from Jason Murfitt, who together with his wife Andrea are serving the Lord with Grace Baptist Mission in the Amazon basin in Brazil. He took us on a dramatic Google Earth journey from his UK home in Cornwall, across the Atlantic and into the heart of the Amazon basin, emphasising the remoteness of their situation. A powerpoint presentation with many photos of the people and places where they work followed. The evening concluded with a time of prayer for Jason & his family and their work in that mission field. You will find more about Jason and his work and also find his prayer letter here.

In the run-up to Easter 2010 Grace Baptist Church carried out an Easter Survey. The aims were to find out what people believe now, with a view to explaining the relevance of the Easter message. The results of the survey can be accessed here

In the absence of our own Pastor Phil Arthur, our services this Sunday were taken by Wesley Johnston from Leeds Reformed Baptist Church (check out their website here). Both services focussed on Christ – the good Shepherd.
